Spreading Seas Deck

Spreading the Red Sea like what Moses did might not be a hard feat after all. With this deck you can easily spread the seas of your opponents to control and disrupt their mana flow. With the current set of lands in standard, it is no surprise that Spreading Seas and Convincing Mirage has the capability to screw your opponent's mana flow.

Decks in the metagame in recent events, consist mainly with a minimum of three colors. Primarily taking advantage of the Shards of Alara "tri-lands" and the "enemy-colored" fetches from Zendikar, which makes a Spreading Seas enchanted on a Savage Lands that disruptive.

This deck basically will try to survive the early turns, play a Cascade card on the fourth and cascade into either the Spreading Seas or Convincing Mirage and hope to start the disruption. From here on the deck will deny you of your multi-colored spells.

Day of Judgement will keep your opponent's creatures in check before and after land disruption, the Cascade cards will get Spreading Seas earlier. Ajani will get you the extra point of life and probably kill a creature or two, not to mention Ajani's ability to disrupt your lands, the new Jace is a pain and is something to watch out for as well, and finally Baneslayer Angel for the win.

This is a fun deck to play with and just like any other deck you have to get out there and play test. Enjoy.
